The doors of Sumedharama are open for those who want to visit the Monastery during the day, between 4:45 am and 8:30 pm, to enjoy the silent and contemplative space of the Monastery, or participate in the daily formal meditations, at 5 am and 7:30 pm.

All visitors are asked to maintain an atmosphere of silence and tranquility.

To enter any of the buildings it is necessary to remove the shoes.

We ask all visitors not to wear shorts or skirts, or trousers or trousers.

The Meditation Room is for the exclusive use of silent meditation and should not be used for conversation or any other purpose.

Sumedharama has a small library where you can read, and the exterior space of the Monastery is very inviting for reading and contemplation.
