Next Sunday, May 31, the celebrations will take place. Vesak<\/span><\/a> <\/span>in Sumedharama, thus commemorating the Birth, Enlightenment and Parinibbana of Buddha Gautama.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Programme:<\/p>\n

10 a.m. \u2013 Taking of the Precepts, followed by Parittas (Songs of Protection)<\/p>\n

10.30 a.m. \u2013 Rice ceremony (pindabat) and meal offer. (you can bring a dish to share)<\/p>\n

11 a.m. \u2013 Lunch<\/p>\n

12.30 p.m. \u2013 Luang P\u00f4 Vajiro<\/span> Give a Dhamma Lecture<\/p>\n

1:30 p.m. \u2013 Stupa Circum-ambulation<\/p>\n

All are invited to participate, being able to enjoy the commemorative and contemplative atmosphere of the occasion and space of the Monastery.<\/p>\n
