On Sunday, the 18th of May, the Celebrations of Vesak<\/a><\/span> will be held at Sumedharama. This day celebrates the Birth, Enlightenment and Parinibbana of the Buddha Gautama.<\/p>\n

We will have the presence of Luang P\u00f4 Pasanno<\/a><\/span> on this occasion:<\/p>\n

Programme<\/p>\n

10 a.m. \u2013 Precepts and Auspicious Chanting (Parittas)<\/p>\n

10.30 a.m. \u2013 Rice pindabat ceremony and meal offering<\/p>\n

11 a.m. \u2013 Meal<\/p>\n

12.30 p.m. \u2013 Luang P\u00f4 Pasanno<\/a> offers a Dhamma talk<\/p>\n

1:30 p.m. \u2013 Stupa Circumambulation<\/p>\n

All are welcome to participate and enjoy this celebration and the contemplative atmosphere of the monastery.<\/p>\n
